Compress a PDF to 300 KB
PDF Desk lowers the resolution step by step until the file is under 300 KB.
Files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
How many pages fit in 300 KB?
At readable quality, 300 KB holds about 5–8 scanned pages in black and white. Photos and colour backgrounds take more space than plain text.

Questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. PDF Desk opens and writes the file with JavaScript inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for contracts, IDs and bank statements.
My PDF will not go under 300 KB. What can I do?
Choose black and white, split the PDF into parts with Split PDF, or remove pages you do not need with Delete pages.
Will the PDF still be readable?
Normal text stays readable down to about 60 DPI. Small print and fine drawings need higher limits.
