Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. PDF Desk opens and writes the file with JavaScript inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for contracts, IDs and bank statements.
Why is no text found?
Scanned PDFs contain pictures of pages, not text. Those need OCR, which this tool does not do.
